"It's tough trying to keep your feet on the ground, your head above the clouds, your nose to the grindstone, your shoulder to the wheel, your finger on the pulse, your eye on the ball and your ear to the ground."
-- based on proverbs
TODAY'S BUSINESS BUILDER
Make sure that your invoices are clear, accurate and detailed. Each invoice should include your customer’s name and address, the correct purchase order number, and the total amount due. Payment due date and/or terms should be shown prominently. Be sure to include complete information on your company, including a contact name and phone number should your customer have questions. Another idea: When possible, itemize charges. It is harder to contest a bill that is itemized, and if there is a dispute over one of the charges, you can legitimately ask to be paid for other undisputed charges. And, don’t forget a clear explanation and calculation of late charges.
